Hello everybody!
My name is Erika and I'm a university student here in Norway. I've recently entered the winter vacation. My family and I wanted to visit a place somewhere in Europe: somewhere warm, but no too expensive or dangerous. My brother chose Constanta. Initially we didn't even know where that is, but as he is a student in Romania, we guessed it was a city there. We were right! We knew the place a little bit, from his stories. It seemed pretty reasonable so we accepted his idea: it was a sea side city, exactly what we wanted after all!
The overall atmosphere was so great. It was inviting, really. People were having fun on the beach, even in the hotel. We didn't know too much Romanian to begin with, but with the help of my broher and the very helping Romanians there, now we know some useful phrases! You can do a lot of stuff there: not only you can go to the beach, you can also practise extreme sports. If you want to get the thrill of jetboating or windsurfing, you got the place you needed. You can also go by boat to some little islands, like the Island Tomis, where you can get a few drinks andenjoy the view. Oh, the view - don't even get me started! It's enthralling! The shops have all you need for a short adventure on the sea. However, if you're not a fan of the sea side, the night clubs won't dissapoint you.
If you're a university student and you have some free time, don't hesitate and go to Costanta. It's a great place for students because money isn't really a requirement. You can have lots of fun even if you only have little money. For me, it was a great experience, and i can guarantee you that you're going to enjoy this place as much as i did!
