When we think of the royal family we think crowns made out of gold and pretty ladies wearing pastel pink and blue dresses but here I'll tell you five facts about the royal British family that will make your head swirl into a mix of emotions:

Queen Elizabeth's nick name is Lilibet -we've all had trouble pronouncing some words when we were little and so did queen Elizabeth,she couldn't pronounce her actual name so she went along with lilibet.

Queen Elizabeth married her third cousin-she and her husband,price Philip share the family name so she didn't have to change her family name to her husbands as they shared it.

Queen Elizabeth doesn't need a driving license!neither does she need a passport,that means she doesn't have to go though and complications on her way to the super market isn't she just lucky.

Kate Middleton has a degree in art history,so technically she's the first one in the royal British family to have an art degree,I guess everything has a first.
