I am writing to answer your question about how I spent my New Year's Eve. At a typical Romanian party there is a lot of food being served. At least one or two appetizers and about three or four main dishes followed by cake of course. We like to eat good quality food and then dance until we drop. There is traditional Romanian music being played, people are really cheerful and there are few dull moments. The party venue is usually nicely decorated with balloons and ribbons and a DJ or a band is hired to keep people animated. Some parties also have artistic moments with professional dancers that make you wish you were as good as them. So I invite you to come see for yourself next time you are in Romania.
