A poor woodcutter and his wife had two children named Hansel and Gretel. Their mother died when they were young. Hansel and Gretel were very sad. Shortly after their father remarried, but their stepmother was very cruel. One day, she took the children deep into the woods and left them there. Smart breadcrumbs Hansel had some in my pocket and got out on the road, so they can find their way back home. Alas! Birds ate all the crumbs and could not find the path that led back home.
Hansel and Gretel went deeper and deeper into the forest. They were hungry and tired. Finally, after walking for a long time, they saw a cottage chocolate, candy and cakes. "Look, Hansel! A brick of chocolate!" Cried
Gretel in delight and ate so heartily.
Now a wicked witch lived there. When she saw Hansel and Gretel, she wanted to eat. She took the children and locked them in a cage. Witch decided to make a soup of Hansel and eat it first. She began to boil a large pot of water for soup. Just then, Gretel crept out of the cage. She gave a strong impetus wicked witch witch back and fell into the boiling water. She screamed in pain and died instantly. Hansel and Gretel find the treasure lying around the cottage. They carried him home with them. Their stepmother died and their father, they got back tears of joy. They did not go hungry again!
